Why your brand needs to know about SEO

 | August 10, 2011

With the advancement of technology the internet has become increasingly important for organisations to communicate and connect with their customers.  The increasing popularity of social media networks has helped to create and maintain these relationships. However, something even more important when trying to make a connection with your customers is SEO. You can’t reach your customers if they simply can’t find your brand; which is why it is so important that SEO is the number one priority on your internet marketing strategy.

SEO, or search engine optimisation, is a way of improving the visibility of your website in search engines such as Google for free. The higher up on the page of search results your company is, the more likely consumers will visit your website over your competitors. The special algorithm that Google uses to generate search results is unknown however it is known that social media, blogging and other ways of leaving traces of your websitelinks across online platforms are effective SEO tactics.  The only problem is that this can be a tedious and time consuming process. Another very important way of embracing search engine optimisation is by incorporating it in to your website development and design.

At Moove Agency we encourage all our clients to seriously consider SEO when working on a websiteproject. Every step of our production process goes in to ensuring that the website is user friendly.
