Major WordPress Release: 5.0 and Gutenberg are here!

The latest WordPress release is here: 5.0 “Bebo”. This is a major release that includes the Gutenberg editor as a default editor within its core.

Some of the highlights of the new release include:

• A new block-based editor to enable a streamlined editing experience across your site.
• More flexibility and control over how your content is displayed.
• Insert and rearrange any media with ease.
• Starter blocks are already available with more being added by the WordPress community each day.
• A new default theme ‘Twenty Nineteen’ designed for block editor has also been released.
• Users who prefer to keep the Classic Editor can still do so and support will remain for the Classic Editor until 2021.
