Team retreats provide a welcome change of pace and scenery to spend time together in a relaxed environment, reflecting on the past year and planning for the year ahead. With teams in three locations (the UK, Czech Rep and Romania), we think it’s important to bring the team together at least once a year outside of the usual office environment to explore some new places and have some fun.
With four new team members joining Moove this year, the retreat was a great opportunity for everyone to meet and for us to introduce new members of the team to our work and our culture; sharing the history of Moove as well as our plans for the future.
We also organised the team retreat as a thank you and reward for the team’s hard work and, as we turned 5 this year, there was birthday cake all round!
As well as a day focussed on Moove’s strategy we also planned some fun activities to make the most of our time in Romania. We visited Bran Castle (made famous by Bram Stokers Dracula), got muddy on quad bikes and ate (a lot!) of lovely Romanian cuisine. Here are a few photos of our time away together:
Exploring historic Romania
A lot of lovely Romanian food!
Quad biking action!
It was great to spend time together, relaxing, celebrating a successful year and making plans for the year ahead. Romania’s beautiful Transylvania region was the perfect backdrop for our team retreat and we highly recommend a visit!
